Founder / Attorney

Troy D. Brown, established Foothills Title Services, Inc. in 1997 after serving in Desert Storm and Bosnia where he flew KC-135s with the Air Force. Graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1993 with his law degree, he opened his first office in Maryville.

Vice President

Lisa has been with us since 2002. Lisa has over 18 years of title experience and currently manages all aspects of the closing process for all of our locations.

Attorney

Katie joined Foothills Title Services in 2014. After leaving in 2020, she has returned home to Foothills, as our Staff Attorney. Katie graduated from Lincoln Memorial University- Duncan School of Law in 2013 with her main focus being Real Estate. She resides in Knoxville with two sweet golden pups!

Operations Manager

Brian is an experienced operations and technology leader with over a decade in the mortgage, lending, and financial services industries. He has led high-impact initiatives across process improvement, data and analytics, systems implementation, and organizational change. Brian has a strong track record of driving scalable growth, optimizing workflows, and aligning people, processes, and technology to support long-term business success.

His background includes leadership roles in both corporate and consulting environments, where he has built and supported solutions for mortgage lenders, financial institutions, and fintech providers. Brian is passionate about building strong teams, creating operational clarity, and helping businesses grow with agility and purpose.

Business Development Manager

Brittany joined Foothills in August of 2022. She has a Marketing Degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and has been in the industry for 12 years. She brings with her a significant background of title knowledge and experience. She is also slightly obsessed with hairless cats.

Director of Marketing

Erica joined the Foothills team in 2023. She has extensive knowledge in Lending, as well as the Title Industry, but her passion for people and making connections is what sets her apart. She holds the standards high for herself and strives to achieve greatness. Erica is a lifelong resident of North Georgia, where she resides with husband and two children. When she isn’t closing deals, you can find her outdoors and seeking new adventures.

Business Development and Marketing Director

Racquel joined Foothills in February 2025, with extensive experience in title, real estate, and marketing strategy.  She brings a dynamic skill set that enhances our ability to provide premier, concierge title and escrow services Beyond her career, Racquel is deeply committed to her community and supporting local businesses. She expertly balances her career with being a dedicated mother to three college students, a proud fire chief wife, and an authentic leader. In her free time, she loves enjoying the outdoors, listening to live music, and traveling.

Closing Agent and Marketing Liaison

Alexis rejoined Foothills Title full-time in 2025, bringing a strong background in client relations and a creative edge shaped by her experience in the performing arts. She holds a degree in Fine Arts and originally moved from Northern California to Tennessee in 2017. As a Closing Agent and Marketing Liaison, Alexis spends most of her time in the closing room while also contributing to Foothills’ growing client engagement. In Alexis’ free time she loves to travel, sing, see shows, and, more often than not, stay home with her husband and their two beautiful baby cats.

Sue has been with us since 2013. Previously owning her own title company, Sue has over 28 years of experience in the industry.

Hollis joined Foothills in 2025. With over 23 years of experience in the industry, Hollis is passionate about guiding clients and realtors through smooth, and seamless closings. She understands that the closing process can feel like the final, and sometimes most stressful step in the home-buying or selling journey. That is why she is committed to making it as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

Outside of work, Hollis is a proud wife and mom to two college-aged daughters and two beloved fur babies. She enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling with friends, and quiet weekends at home with her family.

Closing Agent

Originally from Los Angeles, Alex made Tennessee her home six years ago and has quickly become a valued part of the Foothills Title team. She began her career in the banking industry, which eventually opened the door to the title world. What Alex enjoys most about her role is gaining a deeper understanding of the entire process and having the opportunity to connect directly with clients.

Outside of work, Alex is an avid reader of literary fiction and enjoys an active lifestyle with hiking, horseback riding, Pilates, and running. A true animal lover, her home is filled with furry friends, three (sometimes four) dogs, six cats, and a horse. She also loves exploring local favorites like Chapulines and Beard Brothers. Though she’s never been on a plane due to her fear of flying, Alex dreams of one day visiting Scotland, her bucket-list destination.

Closing Agent | Foothills Title – Morristown Area

Tina Clevenger brings over 25 years of experience in the title industry to the Foothills Title team. A proud military veteran, Tina began her career in 1998 and became a licensed Title Insurance Producer in 2001, followed by earning her Closing Agent designation in 2002. Her extensive background, combined with five years of management experience, has equipped her with strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to clear, proactive communication throughout every transaction.

When she is not serving clients, Tina enjoys playing Singo, spending time with her first grandbaby, and relaxing with her dog.

Abbi has been with us since 2012. Abbi is one of our senior processors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New York. She now calls East Tennessee home with her husband, son and twin daughters.

Candace has been with Foothills Title since 2011. Candace has worked in the title industry since 1997. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and an Associate degree from Concordia University Wisconsin. She enjoys spending time riding and showing paint horses.

Lydia joined the Foothills team in 2020 after graduating with her Bachelors degree in Child Development from Tennessee Technological University. She resides in Maryville with her husband, new baby girl, and her 3 year old lab.

Bridgett has been with us since 2015. Bridgett has worked in the title industry for over 21 years. In addition to closing and processing she also handles our relocation business.

Abbe Egeland brings strong experience, professionalism, and a client-first mindset to the Foothills Title team. With a background in real estate and title support, Abbe is known for her attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and dedication to making each closing smooth, efficient, and well-communicated for all parties involved.

Her ability to build trusted relationships with agents, lenders, and clients makes her a valued partner in the closing process. Abbe takes pride in delivering accuracy, consistency, and exceptional service in every transaction.

Outside of work, Abbe enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring local East Tennessee gems, and pursuing the hobbies that keep her grounded and joyful.

Senior Processor

Jayme joined Foothills in 2024. She grew up in the North Georgia area where she resides with her high school sweetheart and daughter. She has over 17 years in customer service management and a background in insurance making her a perfect fit for a position as a processor for Foothills. When she is not at work you can find her at home with her family, reading a book or playing a game of pool.

Elizabeth Anderson brings decades of mortgage industry experience and a passion for building strong client relationships to the Foothills Title team. With a career in mortgage lending since 1996 and a transition into the title industry in 2024, she offers a well-rounded perspective on the closing process from start to finish.

Known for her hands-on approach, Elizabeth takes pride in creating meaningful connections with her clients, especially first-time homebuyers. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and empathic nature help ensure every closing is smooth, supportive, and personal.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys boating and spending time with her 90-pound Bernedoodle, Knox. She is grateful to be part of the Foothills Title team and proud to work alongside what she considers the best of the best!

Mirna joined Foothills in August of 2021. She currently works in our Sevierville office. Mirna is not only a processor but also conducts closings and transactions in Spanish to cater to the Spanish speaking community. During her days off, she loves to travel and spend time with her husband and son.

Dorothy has been with Foothills Title since May 2023.  She has over 30 years of experience in Real Estate Law and several other areas of law and is a real asset to the Cleveland team.  She got her start processing and closing files in North Carolina.  She is the proud mother of one daughter who currently attends UT-Knoxville.  In her spare time, Dorothy loves spending time with her family, shopping and traveling.

Morgan joined Foothills in October of 2022. She wears many hats here at Foothills which include processing, closing and even post-closing. She was born and raised in Maryville where she still resides with her dog, Quinn, and two cats, Percy and Olive. On her time off you can find her cozying up at home with her furbabies, and her 2-year-old daughter who keeps her on her toes!

Devan joined Foothills in 2024 bringing with her several years of experience in the title industry and a strong background in customer-focused service. Before transitioning to the title field, Devan was a licensed cosmetologist, where she honed her skills in communication, detail orientation, and building client relationships. Her unique blend of industry knowledge and people skills make her a valuable asset to Foothills team.

Nick brings 14 years of banking experience, including 10 years in management. He’s passionate about building strong client relationships and leading high-performing teams. Outside of work, Nick enjoys golf, cheering on University of Tennessee sports, and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Ashley joined our team in 2025, bringing with her over a decade of experience in customer relations, including 5 years in the mortgage industry. With a true passion for helping people and dedication to client care, she thrives on making the title process as smooth as possible. Outside of work, you can find her with a book and coffee in hand or out exploring a new trail. Whether it’s running, hiking, or traveling, she’s always up for an adventure!

Tiffany has been in the Mortgage Industry for 20 years, with the last 10 years being a Licensed Loan Officer Assistant. She was born and raised in Washburn, TN a small town in Grainger County, where she lives with her husband and 2 kids. She enjoys spending time with family and camping.
